The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Brew & Byte does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Calculator results, recipe suggestions, and AI-generated content are estimates only and should not replace sound brewing judgment or professional advice.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Brew & Byte and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to damages resulting from recipes, batches, brewing processes, equipment decisions, or any content created, imported, or tracked on the Platform. You brew at your own risk.
5. Hold Harmless
You agree to hold harmless Brew & Byte, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your brewing activities, or any content you create or import. This includes but is not limited to personal injury, property damage, or adverse health outcomes related to beverages produced using the Platform.
6. Legal Compliance
Homebrewing laws vary by jurisdiction. It is your sole responsibility to verify that your brewing activities comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Brew & Byte does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for any regulatory violations arising from your use of the Platform.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of all recipes, batches, notes, and other content you create on the Platform. By using the Platform, you grant Brew & Byte a limited license to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content.
8. Imported and Third-Party Content
The Platform supports importing recipes from third-party sources including BeerXML files and public recipe databases. Brew & Byte makes no representations regarding the accuracy, safety, or quality of imported content and is not liable for any outcomes resulting from the use of third-party recipes or data.
9. AI-Generated Content
The Platform uses artificial intelligence to provide recipe suggestions, troubleshooting guidance, and brewing recommendations. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be accurate or appropriate for your specific situation. Always apply your own judgment before acting on AI suggestions.
10. Modifications to Terms
Brew & Byte reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
